Powered sonar inspection robot
The Otter-S1 powered sonar inspection robot (Platypus) is a self-propelled underwater sonar inspection robot for drainage pipe networks. Without pre-treatment of the pipes, it can identify and determine pipe defects. Combined with sonar data processing software, it automatically calculates the pipe cross-section and total sediment volume, and uses a 3D point cloud model to provide a more intuitive view of the pipe's internal structure, generating an inspection report quickly with a single click.

    The front and top cameras on the device feature 2.1 million high-definition pixels, which, together with the lighting, help operators understand the working environment inside the pipeline.

    The device utilizes an underwater double-helix propulsion system, providing excellent maneuverability. By removing the power module and attaching buoyancy blocks, it can float and enter DN300 pipelines (a tow rope is required).
