In July 2025, sediment appeared in the water supply in some areas of Hong Kong. The initial assessment was that the problem originated from a 400-meter section of water pipe upstream of Queen's Hill Estate and Shan Lai Court, and it was speculated that the asphalt coating of the pipe peeled off, causing impurities to mix into the water.

In October 2022, the pipeline to be inspected in a certain area in Southwest China was a DN800 water supply pipeline in the core of the urban area, which undertakes the daily water supply task for multiple surrounding communities and commercial areas and is a key node in the city's water supply.

In 2023, a DN2200 raw water pipeline in a certain area of ​​Northeast China was the core pipeline for the city's direct water supply. Its stable operation was directly related to people's livelihood and the normal operation of the city.

In August 2023, we were commissioned by a water supply company to conduct leak detection and mapping on the water supply pipeline section of the Shiqiao Bridge, an important waterway in the Pearl River system. The pipeline is a DN800 steel pipe, about 40 years old, and is a key channel for regional water supply. Previous zonal metering data showed anomalies, and there was a high suspicion of pipeline leakage.
